The short version
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The loan numbers you type are never sent to us or stored on a server. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic, and we show third-party ads that may use cookies. You can control cookies in your browser at any time.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit the financial figures you enter into any calculator — balance, rate, lump sum, and the rest stay on your device. When you use the "shareable link" feature, your inputs are encoded into the URL you choose to share; we don't receive a copy.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically receive standard technical data when you visit — such as your approximate location (from your IP address), device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring site. This is used in aggregate to understand and improve the site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to measure traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data as described in Google's privacy documentation. We use it only for aggregate insight, not to identify individuals. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

This site is supported by advertising and affiliate partnerships.
- Third-party ad vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to opt out of certain data uses. Because we don't hold your loan inputs or maintain personal accounts, most requests concern analytics or advertising data held by our service providers, and are best exercised through the opt-out links above. You can also contact us with any privacy question.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults making mortgage decisions and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as our tools or legal requirements change. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
